Sammy Shakes...huh?

So to introduce myself, it's best to introduce you to Sammy, my Beagle and best bud. I adopted Sammy over three years ago and it's been quite interesting. For starters, he was the quietest of the group at the adoption event I found him, that didn't last long. As soon as I got him home, it became very clear that he was abused and trusted NO ONE! He sat in the corner and shook non-stop. When approached, he would snap at you. Needless to say, for 3 months I tried to find him another home without any other animals as well as kids-that didn't happen very easily. Around the 3 month mark he started coming around and I couldn't imagine life without him. Yes, he had his quirks (and still does), but three years later I have the best cuddle buddy and constant unconditional love no matter what else is happening in my life!

Here he is not long after adopting him. My roomate at the time, JD, had just gotten Joey (a baby Beagle). She was nice enough to get Sammy a halloween costume-fittingly so, he was a clown!
